As the title says.

Say for someone currently working as a Data Analyst/ Analyst, and who uses Excel, Power , and SQL pretty much all day.

Normally when I learn something, it’s so that I can start applying it pretty quickly – in this case though, I don’t really see any strong case for either R or with what my company is doing. However, it seems like the next logical thing to learn career-wise. And who knows, maybe I just lack imagination.

If learning purely to develop a skillset to further one’s analyst career in a general way – which would you suggest?
